Claremont Room

The Claremont Room is a great venue for larger conferences, workshops and events. Located on the ground floor, it has wheelchair access and includes a larger projector screen, microphones (on request) and two 65” HD TVs. As with all of our rooms, the Claremont is bright, airy and spacious.

Local History

Claremont Square is a characteristically elegant early nineteenth-century square and reservoir on Pentonville Road, which still retains its original railings. Built on the site of a 17th century reservoir by The New River Company which brought fresh water to London from springs in Hertfordshire, the reservoir is still in use and is now supplied by the Thames Water Ring Main.

You may recognize this historical square in the film ‘Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix’. Claremont Square is the site of Number 12 Grimmauld Place.
